in introducing digital photo frame technology to telephones in the form
of the Oregon Scientific Photo-Touch Phone.
The Oregon Scientific Photo-Touch Phone, apart from offering all the
convenience offered by a cordless phone boasting DECT 6.0 technology,
comes with a 7 LCD TFT display with which you can display your
favourite digital images to liven things up a little or, perhaps, to
serve to remind you of who you're talking to actually looks like.
Capable of displaying up to 200 images, which should see all families
except that of my wife's pretty much catered for, the Oregon Scientific
Photo-Touch Phone additionally adds picture-in-picture functionality and
also offers a 50 number phonebook allowing you to cal up your contacts
with the minimum of fuss.

based in Hong Kong for HK$1,998 (approximately $232) and, it seems, is
not yet available elsewhere with no word from Oregon Scientific as to
whether that will ever transpire to be the case.
