Acer Aspire Timeline 1820P CULV Multitouch Tablet Ultraportable Timeline 1820P Initial Details Caught in the Wild

If you ve been swayed by the Acer Aspire Timeline 1810T ultraportable
but are yet to commit to parting with cash and you re additionally eager
to get a multitouch capable ultraportable (with rules the 1810T out
anyhow) you may be interested in the Acer Aspire Timeline 1820P
multitouch tablet ultraportable which has just been caught in the wild.
Tahnks to macles* (duely credited and linked at the bottom of the post),
we have gained an initial insight as to what the Acer Aspire Timeline
1820P has to offer in that, according to the site, the Timeline 1820P s
specifications are the same as those touted by the 1810T except, of
course, the Timeline 1820P brings the draw of multitouch functionality
to the table thanks to its convertible multitouch capable touchscreen
and it running Windows 7 OS.
If indeed the Timeline 1820P s key specifications are the same then what
we re looking at here, aside from its new display, is a 1.4GHz Intel
Core 2 Solo SU3500 processor boasting those all important CULV
credentials resulting in reduced power consumption (and thus longer
battery life), along with 2GB/4GB RAM, GMA 4500MHD graphics, built-in
WiFi and possible 3G and Bluetooth connectivity " but, at this
juncture, the latter elements are speculation on our part (though are
based on what the 1810T offers).

There s no official word from Acer yet concerning the multitouch capable
Aspire Timeline 1820P CULV convertible untraportable but what with Win 7
set to launch from 22 October we suspect we won t have to wait all that
long till Acer spill the beans in all their glorious detail.
