Apple to Launch New iMacs, Mac minis & MacBooks Pricing Revealed in Google AdSense Ads Delivered in the Netherlands

It s not a secret that Apple has scheduled a refresh for both its
desktop and laptop line. Later this fall we re going to see new iMacs,
Mac minis and MacBooks appear in Apple Stores around the world. But I
guess that Apple never intended to reveal details about these new
machines ahead of time, and especially not through Google AdSense ads.

Because that s exactly what happened in the Netherlands! Some
overzealous Apple employee responsible for the Apple ad campaign in the
Netherlands has gone ahead and published the new ads. And these ads have
started showing immediately after being published. Apple lovers in the
Netherlands can check it for themselves, although it s highly unlikely
to get the same results now that this huge error has been discovered.
Search for iMac, Mac mini and MacBook and you might see one of the
results below.

The new iMacs are supposed to be ultrathin 20- and 24-inch models with
pricing starting at 1099 โEUR:

The Brand new iMac. Ultra Thin 20 24 inch models. From only โEUR
1099. Apple Store

The new Mac mini is going to faster and cheaper. Starting a 499 โEUR,
the new mini is 100 โEUR less than the older version:

Apple's New Mac Mini. Faster and more affordable than ever. From only
โEUR 499. Order immediately.

The new MacBook, and by the new Mac we refer to the refreshed 13-inch
plastic (white) laptop, is supposed to be thinner, lighter and faster.
Rumor has it that Apple will upgrade its cheapest MacBook without
changing prices. We are to expect a new design and an integrated battery
along with all the other hardware modifications. The ad reads:

Apple's Newest MacBook. Thinner, lighter and faster! Free delivery.
Order today.

Needless to say that all these ads were pointing to pages from the
online Dutch Apple store which don t exactly exist yet. So even if you
do get the same search results, clicking on them will not get you
anywhere. The only thing that s likely to happen is for Google to charge
Apple Netherlands for all those clicks. What about you? What new Apple
computer are you waiting for? The iMac, Mac mini or the MacBook?
