Microsoft Zune HD Announced Wireless Connectivity, HD Audio and Flash Memory

Trying to take on the high-end iPod Touch, the guys at Microsoft just
announced that their new Zune HD is going to play high-definition
movies, will tune in to digital radio (HD Radio that is) and will be
able to surf the Web. Based on Windows CE, the new Zune is going to
sport a 3.3-inch 480 x 272 OLED (organic light-emitting diode)
touchscreen display, will feature a modified version of Internet
Explorer and Wireless connectivity.

Although we don't have any pricing information or any other technical
details, the new Zune HD is expected to run on flash memory and should
hit the US shelves by this fall.
