Maingear Pulse Gaming PC Nvidia ION Powered Pulse Green Gaming Rig

Maingear have taken the wraps off their new small form factor gaming
rig, the Maingear Pulse, which is touted as being a 'green gaming PC'
thanks, in no small part, to boasting an Nvidia ION chipset and Intel
Core 2 Duo or low power Core 2 Quad CPU under the hood.

The Maingear Pulse, apart from sporting an ION chipset and a choice of
45nm Core 2 Duo or Core 2 Quad processors under the hood, comes with
integrated Geforce 9300 or optional 512MB or 1GB GeForce 9800 GT ECO
graphics (which draws around 40% less power than the standard 9800 GT),
can be configured with up to 8GB DDR-2-800 memory, up to 5000GB 7200rpm
2.5 SATA HDD or optional SSD (maximum 160GB capacity).

Running either Windows Vista Premium 32-bit or Premium 64-bit, the
Maingear Pulse, which can additionally be kitted out with Blu-ray
optical drive and/or TV tuner card, also comes with in-built Wi-Fi
wireless connectivity (802.11b/g) as well as eSATA support.

NVIDIA's ION platform has opened up a new realm of possibility for
small form factor PCs said Wallace Santos, Founder and CEO of MAINGEAR.
By delivering a GeForce-upgradeable product, we are maximizing ION's
potential with high performance, energy efficient CPUs and GPUs to
deliver a powerful and balanced computing solution in a sleek,
inconspicuous design. It's a tremendous option for the living room, a
dorm, or for the kids.

The Maingear Pulse has just started shipping and will set you back from
$800.
