Sony Nav-U NV-U3C GPS Poised for Launch in Japan Compact GPS for Vehicles, Cyclists & Pedestrians

Sony Japan have announced that their new and decidedly compact NV-U3C
GPS unit, which is part of Sony's Nav-U range, and which measures in at
just 106 x 78 x 71mm whist weighing just 157g, is set to launch in Japan
next month.
Sporting a 3.5 QVGA (320 x 240 resolution) LCD touchscreen, the Sony
Nav-U NV-U3C GPS supports gesture commands, comes with 4GB of integrated
memory and, interestingly, as well as being supplied with a sucker type
mount for attaching to vehicle windscreens can also be used by cyclists
using an optional bicycle mount whilst also featuring a 'walk mode'
allowing the device to be used by pedestrians.

Whilst the Sony Nav-U NV-U3C's full features are a little hard to
decipher from the translated Japanese press release, but we can, at
least, establish that the Nav-U NV-U3C GPS offers around 4 hours
endurance based on a full charge and that it will be made available in
Japan from April 21 and that it will come in silver, white and pink.
