announced DH77 series of Full HD LCD TV's that are now becoming
available in 32 , 37 , 42 and 46 versions, with a 52 model following
up later, which boast a range of eco-friendly features designed to
appeal to evermore energy aware consumers.
Apart from embracing 1080p resolution with 10bit signal processing and
touting 100Hz double frame drive and Natural Clear Panel technologies,
Sharp's new AQUOS DH77 HDTV range come with contrast ratios ranging from
30,000:1 to 50,000:1, integrated DVB-T digital tuners, response times of
just 4ms and, in terms of connectivity, no less than three HDMI inputs
and a USB port.
But where the new DH77 range really shines is in its range of
environmentally friendly features such as an eco-mode that allows users
to reduce the TV's power consumption whilst viewing by changing various
setting 9such as screen brightness) whilst in-built Optical Picture
Control technology will also work in the background to ensure that the
TV's backlighting is employed in moderation according to a room's
ambient lighting conditions - thus ensuring an optical picture whilst
making sure that no more power than is required is being utilised.
