Nintendo DSi Now Available for US Pre-Order DSi Hits Amazon

We first covered Nintendo's latest iteration of the DS back in November
when it began rolling out in Japan and now, at last, the Nintendo DSi is
nearing a US release with Amazon now accepting pre-orders on both the
Matte Black and Matte Blue DSi consoles.

Set to become available as of 5 April, for those uninitiated with the
Nintendo DSi you can expect larger 3.25 screens (vs the DS display
sizes of 3 ), improved screen brightness, an SD card slot, more compact
overall design, built in dual cameras as well as Nintendo DSi Sound for
audio playback and Nintendo DSi Browser for internet web browsing. The
Game boy Advance cartridge slot is no longer evident, however.
Nintendo DSi Key Features:

Enjoy the largest screen size, best audio quality and thinnest design of
any system in the Nintendo DS family
Download exclusive games, clocks and calendars via the Nintendo DSi Shop
Take pictures using either an inward or outward facing camera and chose
from 11 different lenses to customize your shots
Connect wirelessly to browse the internet, share photos and play with others
Access your music in the AAC format off any standard SD Card
Amazon are currently offering the Nintendo DSi for pre-order at just shy
of $170.
