Mintpass Mintpad Internet Tablet Set for US Release Internet, PMP & PIM Capabilities

According to reports just surfacing it appears that Mintpass is indeed
planning to make their highly impressive and decidedly pocket friendly
Mintpad internet tablet available outside of Korea (where it's been
available since November) and are specifically working on offering the
2.86 320 x 240 resolution touchscreen Wi-Fi tablet in the US.

According to Pocketables, Mintpass, the company behind the Mintpad
internet tablet, are presently working on Anglicizing the WinCE 5.0 Pro
device and, to that end, it's reported that the company have already
prepared a 64-page full English manual and 20-page product brochure in
lieu of the Mintpass being offered outside of Korea.

At this early stage there is, of course, no indication as to Mindpad's
envisaged US pricing, however, in mind of the fact that the Mintpad
retails for around the $143 price point (equivalent) in Korea there's no
reason to believe that availing yourself of one of these beauties will
break the bank.
