Samsung 12 Megapixel Camera Cell Phone Set for MWC 2009 Unveiling [World's First 12MP Camera Phone]

Having featured more than a few cell phones that offer all the
functionality of fairly reasonably specified point and shoot compact
cameras - the latest of note being the 8.1MP Sony CyberShot S001 -
rumours just hitting the wires indicate that Samsung are set to up the
ante with the apparent unveiling of the world’s first 12 megapixel
camera phone at MWC ‘09.

At the time of writing concrete details are in exceedingly short supply,
however, according to Telecoms Korea Samsung is not only set to
officially announce their new 12MP handset at MWC ‘09 but have
already pencilled in production of the new 12MP phone for the end of
February with Europe (and not Asia) being the new phone’s initial
port of call.
