Pioneer VSX-819H HD AV Receiver With iPod Digital USB Connection

The Pioneer VSX-819H AV receiver, which was on display at the CES,
succeeds the popular Pioneer VSX-1018AH which was released in June last
year. The particularly wallet friendly Pioneer VSX-819H AV receiver is
set for an April release and will cost around $300.


The VSX-819H AV is capable of upconverting analog video to 1080p and
decoding of Dolby TrueHD and dts HD MA so that audio on Blu-ray discs
comes out clearer. The biggest feature of the VSX-819H AV is that
includes an iPod digital USB connection that can play iPod audio
including DRM protected content. Other features include 4 HDMI inputs
for carrying digital video signals.

The VSX-819H AV features Auto Multi-Channel Acoustic Calibration (MCACC)
which enables optimized playback according to the room environment; you
can also achieve split room audio configurations. A full color graphic
user interface and a glowing remote control facilitate easy operation.
You can view media information such as song lyrics on the HD On-Screen
Display. Although the VSX-819H AV incorporates support for Sirius
satellite radio it does not offer Wi-Fi, ethernet support, or internet
radio.
