LG BD370 & LG BD390

LG Electronics introduced two Blu-ray disc players - LG BD370 and LG
BD390 - at the CES in Las Vegas. Both BD370 and BD390 feature LG’s
“NetCast Entertainment Access” for almost unlimited
content-on-demand options via the company’s tie-ups with CinemaNow
and YouTube plus an ever-growing collection of HD streaming titles from
Netflix.

Internet connectivity to the LG Network Blu-ray players is independent
of PCs. The easy to navigate interface enables quick searches, thumbnail
previews, and multiple screen viewing alternatives.

The BD370 and BD390 offer almost identical features such as support for
Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus, DTS-HD Master Audio Essential; and a
USB port for viewing multimedia files via a mass storage drive. Apart
from these aspects the BD390 also features integrated wireless home
networking and 1GB of internal memory whereas with the BD370 you need
your own 1GB Flash memory to enjoy BD-Live. The BD390 also comes with
discrete 7.1 channel audio outputs plus direct docking support for iPods.

The BD370 and BD390 will be available in the second and third quarters
of 2009, respectively. No pricing information available as yet.
