Century Plus One LCD-8000U USB Sub-Monitor PC/Mac USB LCD

Japanese company Century have released their new sub-monitor, the 8
Century Plus One LCD-8000U, which is designed to be used as an ancillary
SVGA (800 x 600) 24-bit color backlit display that, thanks to utilising
USB connectivity, does away with the need for a multiple output graphics
cards whilst offering both PC and Mac compatibility.

Ideal for those looking for some additional ‘bolt-on’ screen
area, the number of Century Plus One LCD-8000U’s you can employ is
limited only by the number of spare USB ports you have available (as
well as spare resources, obviously) thus allowing you to hook up several
to greatly enhance and expand your desktop working area as and when
required and, thanks to measuring in at just 151.5 x 210 x 32mm will
happily fit into laptop sized bags for ease of transportation.

The Century Plus One LCD-8000U sub-monitor, which resembles a tablet PC
in terms of aesthetics rather more so than it does a monitor, offers
250cd/m2 brightness and viewing angles of 50/70? and will set you back
in the region of $190 each.

The Century Plus One LCD-8000U USB Sub-Monitor offers PC and Mac
compatibility, an 8″ SVGA 24-bit color display and can be hooked
up easily for a little additional desktop working area.
