Alpine Car Receivers iXA-W404, iDA-X305, CDE-102

Alpine has introduced three car receivers at the CES, of course. The
three receivers, namely the iXA-W404, iDA-X305, and CDE-102 all have
their own feature sets with the iXA-W404 being the leader of the pack
featuring a 4.3-inch QVGA touch screen digital media receiver and
mimicking the iPod coverflow. All three models qualify for the Works
With iPhone and Made For iPod tags.

The iXA-W404 has a USB input dedicated for iPod/iPhone connection. The
iXA-W404 offers the advantage of being able to control and charge all
models of dockable iPods and iPhones. You can play iPod/iPhone video
files on the iXA-W404. It features a double-DIN form factor. Navigation
is made easy via the touch screen and the in-dash knob. Bluetooth
connectivity allows hands-free conversations from your mobile phones.
The device also offers connectivity to HD Radio with iTunesยฎ Tagging
and multicasting, satellite radio, navigation, etc.

The Alpine iDA-X305 Digital Media Receiver, uses Alpine's proprietary
Ai-NET platform.The iDA-X305 features a 2.2-inch color TFT screen which
lets you see information on the artist, album, and song. iPod/iPhone
search functions cover search by playlist, artist, album, song, genre,
podcasts, audiobooks and composer.

The CDE-102 has a USB port and aux-in on the front panel. It fulfills
the requirements of those looking to play music stored on external
storage devices.

Alpine's marketing blurb says the X305 is designed to work with Apple's IPhone. Well, they didn't do a great job on the interface. X305 doesn't work with my IPhone which is a 3G running the latest version of the operating system.
