Alesis TapeLink USB Cassette Tape to MP3 Conversion Made Easy

If you're anything link me you'll still have cases/bags full of compact
cassette tapes stowed away that seem merely to be gathering dust but
which you'd rather like to convert to digital audio format if it was
just that little bit easier to do so - and this is where the Alesis
TapeLink USB tape deck comes into play.

Resembling tape decks of old - which is not a bad thing - the Alesis
TapeLink USB promises to make converting cassette tape based recordings
to digital file format (specifically MP3) a veritable breeze in offering
both normal and high speed dubbing and conversion of recordings up to
16-bit, 44.1KHz quality.

Alesis TapeLink USB Key Features:

Dual-cassette dubbing and playback deck with digital-audio output
Plug-and-play USB audio interface requires no drivers
16-bit, 44.1 kHz CD-quality audio output
Normal and high-speed dubbing modes save you time
Dynamic noise-reduction circuitry and software assist in cleaning up
aging tapes
Works with metal and CrO2 tapes
LED level meters provide quick visual reference
Full auto-stop saves older tapes from breaking
Includes software suite with BIAS SoundSoap, Audacity, and EZ Tape Converter

The Alesis TapeLink USB tape deck is available now, however, pricing
info at the time of writing is not readily available. Of course, if you
have an old cassette deck laying around the chances are you won't need
it of course (you'll just need some conversion software - with those
bundled with this deck being wholly capable of performing as good a job
with a standard, non-USB deck, as long as it has line-out connections).
