Alesis M1 Active 520 USB Studio Monitors Studio Grade Speakers

Alesis have detailed their new M1 Active 520 USB Studio Monitors (aka
speakers) which are impressively billed as being 'a pair of active,
bi-amplified, two-way reference monitors that faithfully reproduce
frequencies from 20,000 Hz all the way down to 56 Hz, covering nearly
all frequencies audible to human ears'.

Designed for studio use, the Alesis M1 Active 520 USB Studio Monitors
come with 5' polypropylene low-frequency drivers capable of 50W RMS
output paired with 1' silk dome high-frequency drivers capable of 25W
RMS mounted in a low-resonance bass-reflex, magnetically shielded
cabinets and come complete with integrated USB interface offering
16-bit, 44.1/48 kHz recording and playback functionality.

Additionally you get TRS-balanced 1/4-inch inputs and a headphone output
that automatically mutes the speakers when headphones are connected and,
should you find that the bass output needs a little additional punch,
you'll be pleased to know that these bad boys also come with a bass
boost switch just to ensure that your world is indeed truly rocked.
