Acer TravelMate 6593 & TravelMate 6493 Business Notebooks One-Step Docking Notebooks

Acer have announced their new TravelMate 6593 and TravelMate 6493
notebooks which have been designed specifically for the 'corporate and
small-to-medium (SMB) business customer' market and which come in 14.1'
and 15.4' iterations (TravelMate 6493 and TravelMate 6593 respectively)
and which can be used with Acer's ezDock II and ezDock II+ docking
stations for instant plug 'n' play connection to multiple devices such
as printers.

Both the Acer TravelMate 6593 and the Acer TravelMate 6493 come with
Intel Centrino 2 CPUs with vPro technology and sport CrystalBrite TFT
LCDs, 3GB or 4GB 1066MHz DDR3 RAM dependant on model (see below), Intel
Graphics Media Accelerator 4500 GPUs and offer 802.11a/b/g/Draft-N Wi-Fi
connectivity.

Acer's TravelMate 6593 notebook will set you back from $1499 whilst the
Acer TravelMate 6493 notebook will cost you between $1099 and $1299
depending on configuration with the aforementioned Acer ezDock II and
ezDock II+ docking stations being made available separately.
