The Spark is a UMPC Compact Design Portable Device Up Against Rival, OLPC XO-1

Concept week is definitely here to stay apparently what with the new
'Spark' being announced. The Spark is a UMPC and considered more
portable than a laptop due to its compact design.

Project Inkwell and Ideo designers have come up with this concept that
is said to be designed with a brightly coloured, wide screen display,
Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, full qwerty keyboard and wireless mouse.

You're wondering how you can eventually get one? Well, you might not '
this Spark forms part of an educational project which has been set out
to educate children under the age of 12. It will also hopefully be used
to educate children in poorer areas (Africa etc) as it should be cheaper
and easier to use than laptops and desktops.

This is most definitely the biggest rival of the OLPC XO-1 (priced
around 100-150 dollars) which was also made with the same purpose in
mind Now it is simply a case of who makes this dream a reality first.
The benefits will be gift enough once we have a world filled with
educated children, adults and everyone in between!
