Olidata Intro Wireless USB Set Utilising Wisair WSR601 Chip [Offers Wireless USB Connectivity]

Olidata yesterday took the wraps off their new Wireless USB Set which
utilises the Wisair WSR601 Chip allowing, according to Olidata's press
release, 'users to wirelessly connect from their laptop/desktop to a
range of USB devices, which can be placed anywhere in the room'.

Olidata's Wireless USB Set, which supports WUSB 128-bit AES, takes the
form of a pair of USB adapters (one for the PC, another for the device
to be connected wirelessly) allowing peripherals such as hard disk
drives, printers, digital still cameras, camcorders, CD/DVD writers and
hubs to be hooked up, as the products name would suggest, without the
need for cabling and with the minimum of fuss via a simple,
standard-Windows setup' (which may, or may not, transpire to be quite as
simple as suggested - certainly in our experience). Interestingly,
however, one should not that the product specs clearly state that the
operational range of Olidata's Wireless USB Set is 'up to 30 feet line
of sight' (our emphasis).

Olidata's Wireless USB Set will set you back from around 60. [Thanks Steve]
