Cricket & MetroPCS Gain Motorola Moto VE240 Budget Music Candy Bar

Motorola have confirmed that both Cricket Communications and MetroPCS US
networks are to begin offering their somewhat entry-level Moto V240
candy bar - which comes with integrated MP3 player complete with
dedicated music keys as well as a built-in 'high audio' speakerphone, as
of this month.Aimed at the budget market, the Motorola Moto VE240, which
measures in at 112 x 47 x 14.5 mm, comes with a far from spectacular
1.5' 128×128 65K color display, microSD and SDHC memory card
support (allowing up to 4GB bolt-on storage capacity), stereo Bluetooth
and USB connectivity and when 'picture messaging' is listed as a key
feature you know there's really not a great deal to get excited about.

'MOTO VE240 will help consumers further enjoy the benefits offered by
two of the nation's top providers of unlimited wireless communications
with its many features and great looks,' said Kathleen Finato, vice
president of sales, Motorola. 'We are delighted to offer the features
most important to consumers with impressive quality at an unbelievable
value.'

The Motorola Moto VE240 Candy Bar is available now at Cricket retail
stores in Tulsa, and will be available soon in all Cricket markets with
a retail price of $89.99 after $30.00 instant rebate whilst, at the time
of writing, MetroPCS are merely stating that the Moto VE240 will become
available to its customers in the next few weeks for an as yet
undisclosed price.
