Acer Intros Official Ferrari Branded 22โ€ LCD Display [Acer F22bid Monitor]

If owning your own, handcrafted scale replica of a Ferrari F1 race car
is a little out of your budget (at circa $24,000 each) perhaps Ferrari
fans could seek solace with Acer's new official, strictly limited
edition Ferrari 22' LCD display, known as the Acer F22bid, which will be
produced in a run of a mere 500 units and, whilst not quite as cool as a
1:1 scale F1 Ferrari race car model, will at least see the famous
Prancing Horse staring you in the face as you work at your PC.

Offering 1680×1050 maximum screen resolution with a not
unimpressive 2ms response rate, the 22' Acer F22bid offers a brightness
of 300cd/m2 and a somewhat more impressive contrast ratio of 20,000:1
whist, connectivity-wise, you'll get VGA, DVI, and HDMI inputs allowing
the F22bid to be hooked up to just about any device offering video
output. No word as yet concerning unit pricing - don't expect it to be
cheap - but the good news is, if you're looking for a cheaper
alternative a non-limited edition Ferrari branded Acer F22 display is
seemingly already available via Newegg (linked below) for around $310.

We would say that we would rather hold back for an Aston Martin branded
display but, thankfully, Aston seem to be rather more discerning
concerning their branding (so don't expect to see an Aston Martin
branded display any time soon/ever).
