Westinghouse have announced that they have updated their Quad HD display
which now offers a 56' screen size - as opposed to the 52' previously on
offer - capable of displaying 3840 x 2160 QFHD (Quad Full HD) resolution
totalling some 8.3 million pixels (by way of comparison 1080p HD
definition offers a 'mere' 2.1 million pixels, which really puts the
D56QX1's impressive display into stark perspective).Westinghouse's 16:9
aspect ratio D56QX1 QFHD 56' display boasts lamp life of 50,000hrs, a
1200:1 contrast ratio, 500 nits brightness, 6.5 ms response time -
which, considering the unit's size, is fairly impressive - as well as
16.7 million colours with viewing angles of 176' both horizontally and
vertically.Measuring in at 52.7″ x 32.7″ x 10.0″
(inclusive of stand) and weighing 108.2 lbs, the D56QX1 is also, ac
cording to Westinghouse, compatible with a wide variety of dual-link DVI
