Samsung Unveil SGH-G400 Dual Touchscreen Cell Phone – Samsung’s Soul Gets A Soul Mate

Following on from our post concerning Samsung's new flagship Soul cell
phone, which also happens to sport dual touchscreen displays, Samsung
have now unveiled another dual touchscreen cell phone in the form of the
SGH-G400 which, whilst a clamshell model - the Soul is a slider -
certainly bears somewhat of an (obviously intended) resemblance to its
flagship stable mate.

Sporting the same high gloss, hairline textured metallic finish as the
Soul, Samsung's clamshell SGH-G400 comes with two 2.22' TFT screens, The
inner display being a standard LCD TFT whilst the exterior screen offers
touchscreen functionality, complete with haptic vibration feedback,
allowing the SGH-G400's multimedia features (amongst others) to be
accessed without the need to flip the phone open.

Apart from integrated FM tuner acting to supplement the unit's
multimedia capabilities the SGH-G400 also sports a 5 megapixel camera
(same resolution as the Soul’s) with face detection capabilities
and image stabilisation and 7.2Mbps HSDPA and, just like the Soul, will
fully support themed GUIs.

According to Samsung's official press release, the SGH-G400 should be
expected to hit Europe sometime in June, however the press release fails
to mention either US availability or unit pricing.
