bandwagon and, to that end, Sony are no exception thanks to offering
their first ever (hard to believe, this is Sony after all, but it s
true) touchscreen PC, the Sony VAIO L, which (and now we get to the crux
of the post) has just become available to pre-order.
Offering up a 24 � multitouch capable touchscreen LCD display boasting
Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution, the Sony VAIO L is offered with a
range of CPU options topping out with the 2.66GHz Intel Core 2 Quad
paired with up to a 1333MHz rated Front Side Bus and 4MB Advanced Smart
L2 Cache whilst, in terms of graphics output, the VAIO L falls back on
GeForce G210M integrated graphics offering, obviously (in light of the
display) Full HD capabilities (as well as taking in 3D graphics). You
can also count on up to 6GB of DDR2 SDRAM (the VAIO L can accommodate a
total of 12GB, incidentally), as well as an integrated hard drive up to
1TB capacity.
Naturally, the Sony VAIO L offers both WiFi (802.11b/g/n " nice to see
N duly represented) as well as Bluetooth (specifically stereo Bluetooth
with A2DP) wireless connectivity.
The Sony VAIO L, as mentioned above, is available to pre-order now with
pricing ranging from around $1300 to just shy of $2000 dependant on
model specifications and options.
