HP TouchSmart 300 & TouchSmart 600 PCs Unveiled New Windows 7 TouchSmarts with Multitouch, Optional TV Tuners & Blu-Ray

In the run up to the release of Windows 7, HP have acted to update its
range of TouchSmart PCs with the new Touchsmart 300 and TouchSmart 600
which offer 16:9 aspect ratio 20 � and 23 � multitouch capable displays
respectively.
Aside from the new displays, the newly announced HP TouchSmarts also
offer up revised components with the TouchSmart 300 coming with higher
clocked AMD Athlon II CPU whilst the TouchSmart 600 sports faster Intel
Core 2 Duo Processors whilst both offer up optional Blu-ray burners and
optional integrated TV tuners as well as HDMI and composite video inputs
allowing end users to hook up gaming consoles and ancillary video
equipment. Additionally both feature HP s TouchSmart application which
sees quick access to the likes of Twitter, Hulu, NetFlix and, of course,
HP s own music portal (powered by none other than Rhapsody).

The 20 � HP TouchSmart 300, which comes in at some $900, is set to
commence shipping as of later this month whilst the 23 � HP TouchSmart
600, which comes in at around $1,050, will become available from early
November.
