acted to introduce two new Windows 7 touting notebooks in its budget,
business orientated ProBook range in the form of the 14 � ProBook 6445b
and the 15.6 � ProBook 6545b.
Billed as being aimed specifically at �corporate customers who want an
affordable combination of business-critical and innovative features in a
full-function notebook PC the new HP ProBook notebooks come with AMD
processors under the hood (namely a choice of AMD s Turion II, Athlon II
or Sempron CPUs), ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4200 graphics, LED backlit
displays and 60% improved battery life offering up to eight and a
quarter hours of endurance based on a single, full charge.
Additional options with respect to both the HP ProBook 6445b and the HP
ProBook 6545b include up to 8GB RAM, SATA II hard drives up to 500GB
capacity or the option of a 128GB 2.5 � SSD, optional 2 megapixel
webcams ad Blu-ray drives.
Both the 14 � ProBook 6445b and the 15.6 � ProBook 6545b are set to
retail from around $800 with availability set for the US around
mid-November.
