Free Photoshop App for iPhone/iPod Touch Released Adobe Photoshop Mobile App Brings โ€ Industry-leading Digital-imaging Technology to Users on the Goโ€

Adobe have officially announced the availability of its new Photoshop
app, known as Photoshop.com Mobile, for both the iPhone and iPod Touch
which, apart from being billed as offering a convenient way to edit
photos, apply effects and share images instantly with friends " all
with the flick of a finger.
The new iPhone/iPod Touch Photoshop App, brings a wide variety of tools
to your fingertips encompassing basic functions such as image cropping,
resizing and rotating as well as more complex image editing functions
such taking in image fine tuning (exposure, tint and vibrancy, for
example) as well as providing an array of special effects that are sure
to assist you in making your imagery pop such as blurring and sketch
(renders your image as though it have been drawn " obviously).
Admittedly it must be said that, unsurprisingly, the app is, as you d
expect, extremely limited in features when compared to the full features
version and, yes, theri are other apps out their that offer pretty much
the same features sets such as PhotoForge and EffectsLab (to name but
two) but few would argue that the app, what with having an enormously
trusted brand such Adobe behind it, will find particular favour with
those looking to edit images on their iPhone/iPod Touch and who have
experience of the full, real Mc Coy.

As the digital imaging leader, Adobe is excited to bring
Photoshop.com Mobile to iPhone users, said Doug Mack, vice president
and general manager of Consumer and Hosted Solutions at Adobe. Now,
with access to powerful editing and sharing tools, iPhone users are
armed with the resources to document all of life s unexpected moments,
make them look their best and then re-live those memories with friends
and family.

The Photoshop.com Mobile App for both the iPhone and iPod Touch, which
comes complete with 2GB of space at Photoshop.com, allowing users to
upload and duly access their images online, has just hit Apple s App
Store and, shockingly, it won t cost you a dime. Unfortunately, as at
the time of writing, however, the Photoshop.com Mobile App is only
available to those based in the US or Canada (annoying as that counts me
out) and we are, at this stage, unable to advise whether that will
remain the case or not.
