TomTom Start Satnav GPS Navigation System Released Entry Level TomTom GPS Hits UK with Budget Friendly Price Point

TomTom s latest budget Satnav in-car GPS system, known as the TomTom
Start, has just hit the UK though, as yet, there s actually been no
official word from TomTom concerning the device (so the appearance and
availability of the TomTom Start has come as somewhat of a surprise).
As indicated above, the TomTom Start very much comes in at the lower end
of the market in terms of features with the device, which measures in at
a particularly compact 94 x 81 x 20mm, sporting a 3.5 320 x 240
resolution touchscreen display offering a new simplified menu which
would indicate that the TomTom Start may well be aimed at novice users
(though who are unfamiliar with such devices) though, of course, simpler
menus offering simplified features also help lower the unit s price
point thus making it budget friendly

Supplied with a semi-permanent EasyPort mount allowing the Start to
slip discreetly into your pocket and handbag , the device comes with
QuickGPS Fix and Map Share Correction functionalities as well as smart
IQ Routes technology which should see you getting to your intended
destination in the shortest amount of time (thanks to the device
analysing traffic snarl ups and speed restrictions to gain you the best
possible routing). The device also comes pre-loaded with a speed camera
database.

The TomTom Start is available in the UK as of now and will set you back
just shy of a wallet friendly pound sterling120.
