Sharp Announces New LX AQUOS Series LCD HDTVs 60-IN, 52-IN, 46-IN and 40-IN Sharp LX Versions Pack UV²A and LED Backlighting Technology

In case you are thinking about heading out to purchase a brand new HDTV
for your living room or home theater then hear me out before you leave!
Sharp has a brand new LX AQUOS line of LCD HDTVs and all the models
included will sport cool features like LED backlighting and UVยฒA
technology.

Once these Sharp LCD HDTVs become available for the general public, you
will be able to choose your favorite model. There are four sizes: 60-,
52-, 46-, and 40-inch and one of them might just be the one you were
looking for.

Proceeding to specs we will notice features like UVยฒA technology, LED
backlighting, 2,000,000:1 contrast ratio, integrated ARSS six-speaker
system (well, five for the 40-inch version) with duo bass sub-woofer,
AQUOS High-Picture-Quality Master Engine and Preferred Image Sensor and
AQUOS family link II and VOD support.

know first what things like UVยฒA technology or LED backlighting mean.
UVยฒA is a brand new technology developed by Sharp s finest engineers
which will bring to your HDTV better contrast and better efficiency.
Basically UVยฒA will increase by 60% the contrast ratio of your chosen
panel while using up to 20% less energy than other TVs. That means you
get to save some money on that electricity bill while enjoying a much
better picture.

LED backlighting on the other hand is slightly a more popular feature
when it comes to HDTVs, LCD monitors and all sorts of other displays. In
short LEDs are used to efficiently illuminate the display from the back
of the panel. This type of illumination is growing even more popular
when it comes to HDTVs and we should see more LED backlit LCD panels in
the near future, at least until OLED displays become really affordable.

The new Sharp LX AQUOS HDTV line employs white LEDs instead of those
pricier RGB LEDs which means these HDTVs are going to be cheaper than
what the completion is currently selling. Prices haven t exactly been
