Samsung Armani W8200 Features, Specifications & Images Armani SPH-W8200 AMOLED Touchscreen with DMB TV – Details Confirmed

Back at the beginning of September we brought you a fairly comprehensive
run down concerning the up and coming Samsung Armani W8200 AMOLED
touchscreen phone that comes with integrated DMB TV tuner and now,
thanks to further details emerging we can not only build upon what we
already know but we can bring you some pretty impressive imagery of what
is a pretty impressive handset.
As Alex stated in his initial heads up, as linked above, the Samsung
Armani W8200, which measures in at 100.9 x 53.7 x 15.1mm and weighs in
at 132g, touts a 3.1 AMOLED WVGA resolution touchscreen with slider
style keypad (serving to supplement its touchscreen functionality) and,
as rumoured, does indeed additionally pack a 5 megapixel autofocus
camera along with integrated DMB TV tuner whilst offering HSDPA
connectivity along with Bluetooth. This is all now confirmed as is the
fact that it comes with microSD card slot allowing for bolt-on
additional capacity which, considering the Armani W8200 also touts
integrated video and audio playback capabilities will doubtless prove
especially handy " though the handset will come with a bundled 16GB
memory card from what we can gather.
The main draw, however, aside from its DMB TV tuner, is the Samsung
Armani W8200 s designer aesthetics which sees the handset finished in
gold " though, at this juncture, being that we don t read Korean, we
cannot establish whether we re talking about real gold plating here (we
assume it is). Of course if we had insight as to quite how much the
W8200 will retail for we could reasonably hazard a fairly educated guess
but, alas, there s still no official word concerning what sort of price
tag the W8200 will carry. And, still there s no mention as to
availability " so we cannot offer you any specifics concerning its release.

That said, specifics concerning pricing and release date aside, its
clear from the imagery (and the handset s Armani branding) that the
W8200 is going to come at a premium.
We have our ears pressed firmly to the ground on this so the moment we
can offer up a price and date of availability you ll have it. In the
meantime, however, console yourself by feasting your eyes on what is a
mighty fine looking designer handset that s, understandably, getting
more than its fair share of hype.
