Olympus Stylus 7010 Compact Digital Camera Stylus 7010 Point-And-Shoot Becomes Available Along with Olympus FE-5020, FE-4000 and FE-46

Olympus won't just stand looking how Fuji and other manufacturers
introduce more and more new models to the market. Today, the company has
announced that they'll be releasing four new point-and-shoot cameras,
three of which are in the FE Series — FE-5020, FE-4000 and FE-46
ranging from $99 to $159. However the most interesting is the ultra-slim
Olympus Stylus 7010 camera that comes with a big and bright 2.7 inch
Hyper Crystal II LCD display, a 12 megapixel sensor and ultra-compact 7x
optical wide-angle zoom (28mm-196mm equivalent).

With a TruPic III image processor that promises faster processing speeds
along with face detection, Shadow Adjustment Technology and an AF
Tracking system, the new Olympus Stylus 7010 also boasts dual image
stabilization to keep blur away, In-Camera Panorama for super wide
shooting and In-camera Magic Filters for some of those interesting
time-of-capturing processing effects (that includes a FishEye mode). The
camera uses an Olympus lithium-ion battery for power and saves images to
either an xD-Picture Card or a microSD card.

Olympus Stylus 7010 is expected to be available before the end of August
with an attractive $200 price tag.
