to consider ruggedized digital cameras, too, hence why the company's
have just announced their latest Mju Tough-6010 camera. Capable of
withstanding drops from 1.5 m, waterproof to 3 meters and freeze proof
to -10 C degrees, Olympus Tough-6010 packs a 12-megapixel sensor (pretty
impressive), 3.6x optical zoom (28-102mm lens - equivalent to a 35mm
camera) and dual image stabilization that promises razor-sharp images no
matter if you're snorkeling and have to fight a shark or if your fingers
have frozen in Siberia.
Along the same lines, the new Olympus Mju Tough-6010 also impresses with
a 2.7-inch LCD with TAP Control for great convenience, up to 1600 ISO
sensitivity, face detection for up to 16 face and a choice for either an
xd-Picture Card or MicroSD to store your magic moments. Available in a
striking choice of colors, the latest Tough-6010 will be available from
July for a retail price of 300 GBP (some $490 at today's rate).
