Toshiba Portable Hard Drives Updated Enhanced Software, Apple Time Machine Compatibility

Toshiba have confirmed that they have updated their range of portable
hard drives with a new software bundle that includes NTI BackupNow EZ
software allowing simple auto backup and restore functionality as well
as coming with 256-bit password protection and Drive Space Alert serving
to keep you advised as to current usage and remaining capacity.

Mac users have not been forgotten either thanks to the updated hard
drive software bundles also coming with the NTI Shadow 4 file-based
backup software whilst the drives themselves also now boast out of the
box compatibility with Apple's Time Machine.

The updated Toshiba portable hard drives come in 320GB and 500GB
flavours which will set you back $120 and $150 respectively.
