Toshiba Announces Mini NB205 Netbooks 10.1 inch widescreen LED display, Runs on Windows XP

Toshiba's Mini NB205 netbook lineup is the first try to enter a market
the company has never explored before. Compact, lightweight and meant as
the perfect travel companion for on the move Internet savvy, the new
Toshiba Mini NB205 runs on a Intel Atom N280 processor (1.66GHz), has
1GB of RAM (up to 2GB), features a 10.1-inch widescreen display and a
full QWERTY raised-tile keyboard with a laptop-sized touchpad that
makes web surfing and typing just as easy as from your large notebook or
powerful computer at home.

Available in a variety of colors, the new Mini NB205 offers nine hours
of battery life and features a HDD with Impact Sensor technology that
will prevent any data loss from those daily bumps. It comes bundled with
Windows XP, has an USB port with Sleep-and-Charge technology that
helps you charge all your gadgets even if the device is turned off. The
netbook also sports 802.11 b/g Wireless, Bluetooth, a built-in webcam, a
memory card reader and a security lock slot.

Power efficient, RoHS compliant and meeting the requirements for the the
upcoming EnergyStar 5.0 standard, the new Toshiba Mini NB205 weighs
2.9lbs, and should be available in blue, sable brown, white and pink.
Price is expected to stay between $350 and $400 depending on the model.
