Sprint Sanyo SCP-2700 QWERTY Phone Budget 'Text Friendly' Handset Aimed at Teens

Sprint have confirmed that they are now carrying the Sanyo SCP-2700
QWERTY Phone which is aimed at end users looking for a competitively
priced phone that's idea for texting and which offers compatibility with
Sprint's Family Locator, Mobile E-Mail and GPS Navigation services.
The Bluetooth enabled Sanyo SCP-2700 QWERTY Phone comes with 2.2 320 x
240 resolution 65K color display, 1.3 megapixel camera (allowing for
imagery to be uploaded to social networking sites via sprint's Social
Zone application), built-in speakerphone functionality and, as you'd
probably gathered, is aimed particularly at the teen market.

The Sprint Sanyo SCP-2700 QWERTY Phone, which will be made available in
two colors (Impulsive Pink and Deep Blue), will be made available from
10 May and will set you back around $30 allowing for rebates based on a
two year contract.
