traditional, weekly projector posting we've pulled it out of the bag
(only just, mind) thanks to Projectiondesign getting very slightly
official concerning their new F32 1080 and FL32 WUXGA RealLED projectors.
Following up from their F32 projector (which we didn't feature, so no
point in looking for it) Projectiondesign's new FL32 1080 and FL32 WUXGA
projectors, apart from boasting RealLED illumination technology (a
solid-state LED-based projection system to you and I), offer, as their
respective names would suggest, 1920 x 1080 and 1920 x 1200 resolutions
as well as up to a pretty impressive 100,000 hours of endurance but if
you're looking for detailed features and specifications you'll find this
post wanting (to the same degree as Projectiondesign's press release I
might add) as Projectiondesign are remaining wholly tight-lipped - to
the extend where we're wondering quite why they bothered to introduce
the new FL32 projector at all (considering they really obviously don't
want us to be clued up to any degree whatsoever).
Still if the idea of solid-state LED-based projection systems (ahem,
sorry, 'RealLED illumination technology') excites you - and it does me
(I'm typing single haned, can't you tell? - we promise to bring you an
update, perhaps even with some actual substance, the moment
Projectiondesign decide to offer a press release that's worth the paper
it isn't written on.
No, on second thoughts, should Projectiondesign actually furnish us with
further details I'll pass the post to Alex to sort as he's yet to post
about a projector on TFTS and, I think you'll agree, it's just not on.
Did a good job padding that, didn't I?
