releasing the new JCW World Championship model. Only available for the
European market in a limited edition of 250 unit, the new MINI WC50 will
also honor John Cooper's Formula 1 title from 1959.
If mechanically it's the same car as the John Cooper Works (JCW) model,
the new MINI WC50 brings in a breathe of fresh air when you take a
closer look to its exterior. Featuring a set of bi-xenon lights that
feature black interior reflectors, the outside is complete with a new
aero kit that involves a carbon fiber bonnet scoop, carbon fiber mirror
caps and a rear diffuser. And boy are those alloy wheels stylish …
But considering that inside there's a 6-CD Harman Kardon sound system,
heated front seats, a leather handbrake gaiter and a multi-function
steering wheel, it's obvious that the MINI folks took good care of the
interior, too. With sat nav, rear park distance control, USB and
Bluetooth phone connectivity, the new MINI WC50 is rumored to sell for
some 30,000 pounds in the UK and 40,000 Euros in Europe.
The only issue is that we can't help but wonder if the British green is
the only available color!!!
