Dell Inspiron Mini HDTV TV Tuner USB TV Tuner Brings TV to Inspiron Mini Range

By way of a brief heads up, and following up from or post back in Mach
concerning the Dell Inspiron Mini 10 gaining an optional 720p HD
display, Dell are now offering further incentives to splash out for one
of their Inspiron Mini netbooks in the form of an optional USB HDTV
Digital TV tuner.

The new optional HDTV TV tuner, according to Dell, is designed to
receive local broadcast standards, including mobile digital television
standards like ATSC in the U.S., DVB-T in Western Europe, ISDB-T 1-seg
(1Seg) in Japan, as well as the emerging CMMB standard in China and with
the Dell customized version of Ubuntu Linux (8.04), Windows XP and
Windows Vista Basic.

Allowing Dell Inspiron Mini owners to tune into free digital and HD TV
broadcasts, the optional Inspiron Mini HDTV TV Tuner will set you back
from around $50.
