Daewoo SOLO C920-mini Netbook/Tablet PC LUCOMS SOLO C920-mini Takes on Eee PC T91

Following on from our coverage concerning the Asus Eee PC T91
convertible netbook, it looks as though none other that Daewoo are
intent on taking the fight to Asus in announcing their new, Atom powered
8.9 touchscreen convertible tablet netbook - the Daewoo SOLO C920-mini.
Powered by a 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 CPU paired with Intel's 945 Express
chipset, the Daewoo SOLO C920-mini convertible netbook/tablet, which
runs Windows XP Home Edition (not the Tablet Edition, incidentally),
comes with an 8.9 touchscreen widescreen display offering 1024 x 600
resolution, 1GB DDR2 RAM, a 160GB capacity 1.8 4200rpm HDD, 1.3
megapixel camera, RealTek HD audio and SD/MMC card reader whilst, in
terms of connectivity, there's integrated Wi-Fi (802.11b/g/n), PCI-E
Ethernet, D-Sub, 2 x USB and RJ45 ports.
Measuring in at 241.4 x 209.3 x 27.7mm and weighing in at 1.21KG, the
Daewoo LUCOMS SOLO C920-mini is yet to be officially priced in lieu of
its release to the Korean market and, sadly, there's also no word from
Daewoo as at the time of writing as to whether the SOLO C920-mini will
see a wider international release.
