SATA HDD Multimedia Player HM-181 from Brando Outputs Directly on Your TV via HDMI

The wicked folks from Brando have done it again. Their latest SATA HDD
multimedia player seems like a useful addition to the hard drive docks
we've seen lately. Mainly because this little thing adds HDMI and
component ports that allows you to output video directly on your TV at
either 1080i or 576p, directly from your 2.5 or 3.5 SATA hard drive.

Codenamed HM-181, it connects to your PC via an USB 2.0 port and also
works as a powerful tool for data transfers, backups and cloning.

Although Brando's SATA HDD Multimedia Player doesn't say much about what
video codecs it uses to decipher video, nor does it excel when it comes
standard resolutions, for $69 it's going to support all major audio
files (MP3, WMA, AAC, etc.) and is smart with images, too. It comes with
a remote control, reads your memory cards and thumb drives, and makes
for a good addition for those who'd much rather not use a computer.
