SanDisk ImageMate All-in-One & Multi-Card USB Readers Stylish New ImageMates

SanDisk have now updated their ImageMate series of external memory card
readers with the addition of the new ImageMate All-in-One and Multi-Card
USB Readers, both of which come on detachable tripod bases (removable)
and feature glossy back aesthetics that would fit perfectly with LaCie's
equally monolithic Neil Poulton external hard drives (if you're
interested in a card reader and are looking for a little aesthetic
consistency on your desktop).

The new SanDisk ImageMate readers are two of the fastest and most
reliable USB readers, capable of transferring 1-gigabyte of data in less
than 35 seconds, said Jennifer Lee, senior product marketing manager,
SanDisk, who introduced the new ImageMate card readers. The ImageMate
readers' space-saving vertical design makes them unobtrusive on your
desk, but with such stylish looks they can't help but stand out.

SanDisk ImageMate All-in-One Multi-Card USB Reader Key Features:

The All-In-One memory card reader can reach speeds of up to 34 megabytes
per second (MB/s)2 when using a SanDisk Extreme IV 45 MB/s CompactFlash
card.
The Multi-Card reader is capable of up to 30MB/s3 read and 27 MB/s write
speed data transfer rates when using a SanDisk Extreme III 30MB/s
Edition SDHC card.
Sporting a stylish glossy black and metallic silver design, each
reader's metal tripod base is detachable, creating instant portability.
These readers are faster, smaller, and sleeker than earlier models and
include an upgraded software bundle.
The ImageMate Multi-Card reader easily transfers files to and from
multiple memory card formats, including SD, SDHC, miniSDHC, microSDHC,
MMC, Memory Stick, Memory Stick Pro Duo, xD, and CompactFlash.
Both readers are capable of transferring 1-gigabyte1 of data in less
than 35 seconds.
The ImageMate readers' space-saving vertical design makes them
unobtrusive on a desk, but with such stylish looks they can't help but
stand out.
SanDisk's ImageMate All-in-One Reader will set you back around $32
whilst Sandisk's ImageMate Multi-Card USB Reader is now available for
around $20.
