CX1. It features a 7.1x optical wide-angle zoom lens. The Dynamic Range
Double Shot mode captures two images with different exposure rates and
combines the best of the two for a high-quality composite picture.
You can also take seven shots of the same scene with each shot having a
separate focus. You can then choose the one you wish to keep or use
Photoshop and get all the best-focused elements in a single pic. The CX1
can segment white balance in a single picture based on difference in
amount of light from a light source for different parts of an image. The
Ricoh CX1 compact digital camera has a large 3.0-inch 920,000-dot VGA
monitor.
The new image processing engine Smooth Imaging Engine IV enables greater
image resolution and noise reduction. Videos can be captured at 120fps
so if you are a slow-mo addict then this is a neat feature for you. The
macro feature lets you get as close as 1 cm to the object for a
wide-angle photo and 25 cm for a telephoto.
The camera is scheduled for a mid-March release for around 299 Pounds.
