MS Intro Microsoft LifeCam VX-2000 Budget LifeCam Webcam for Video VoIP

Following on from covering Microsoft's newly announced BlueTrack mice -
namely the Wireless Mobile Mouse 5000 and Wireless Mobile Mouse 6000 -
MS has today introduced a new webcam in their LifeCam series, the
Microsoft LifeCam VX-2000, which is aimed specifically at consumers
looking for 'the biggest bang for their buck.

The new Microsoft LifeCam VX-2000, which MS bill as offering 'quality
video connection of less', offers up a 1.3 megapixel sensor for VGA
resolution video capture and, apart from also being capable of capturing
stills, also boasts (unspecified) visual effects as well as seamless
integration with Windows Live allowing for video messages to be left for
those off-line as well as a Windows Live Call Button which, as the title
suggests, will initiate a video call.

The budget Microsoft LifeCam VX-2000 is set to ship as of June and will
set you back just shy of $30.
