Studiophile studio reference monitor speakers - namely the M-Audio
Studiophile CX-5 and M-Audio Studiophile CX-8 - that, whilst offering
high-end features, come in as somewhat less expensive than many of
M-Audio's studio monitors and so are ideally suited for those with
somewhat more restricted budgets.
Featuring 1.25 silk-dome high frequency drivers and either a 5 or 8
Kevlar long-excursion low frequency drivers with high damping rubber
surrounds (CX-5 and CX-8 respectively), both monitor speakers sport
ultra-solid 1 front and rear MDF baffles and .75-inch MDF wraps, custom
waveguides, seamless crossover integration and advanced Acoustic Space
controls and offer frequency responses of 50Hz to 38KHz (CX-5) and 38Hz
to 38KHz (CX-8).
No specific release dates on these yet, but M-Audio have confirmed that
the Studiophile CX-5 will set you back just shy of $400 whilst the
Studiophile CX-8 will come in just short of $500.

This speaker system is good but I also like A30. The design and sound quality is awesome. The only drawback is the placement of the power button which is on the back side of the speaker. It is not very expensive.
