Genius G-Shot HD520 HD Video Camera Budget 720p HD Camcorder Boasts Double Pocket Friendliness

If you're in the market for a HD video camcorder that offers 720p HD
video capture in H.264/MPED-4 format courtesy of a compact video camera
that's as pocket friendly as it is light on your pocket then the Genius
G-Shot HD520 HD Video Camera, which is also capable of capturing 11
megapixel stills, is vying now for your attention and, all things
considered, is undoubtedly set to make many a shortlist.
Billed as being 'ideal for Summer time outings, dads-n-grads, moms
on-the-go or anyone looking to capture life's moments in brilliant color
and detail' (they leave out YouTubers and bloggers, interestingly), the
Genius G-Shot HD520 HD camcorder sports a 7.1 mm lens touting 5X digital
zoom (no optical zoom, alas), and in terms of key features, apart from
its ultra-bright 2.5 LTPS LCD screen offering 270-degrees rotation,
offers up Face Detection, Electronic Image Stabilizers (EIS), Z-Lighting
technology (that serves to enhance brightness in low-light environments)
and integrated HDMI connectivity - allowing you to hook you the G-Shot
HD520 to HDTVs to view content directly and conveniently without the
need to transfer to additional media. And genius even bundle in a HDMI
cable which, given the low price point, is admirable.

Additionally, Genius's press release makes mention of the Genius G-Shot
HD520 HD camcorder's PMP capabilities (allowing you to listen to music
and read e-books) though the scope of multimedia file format
compatibility is unspecified (certainly in the press release we're in
receipt of).

Coming with 32GB on onboard storage capacity whilst offering HCSD memory
support up to 8GB, the Genius G-Shot HD520 video camera is priced at
just $149 which, in light of the capabilities detailed above, makes it
somewhat of a steal.
