A-DATA 300 Plus SSDs High Speed SATAII Solid State Drives

A-DATA have unveiled their new range of 300 Plus Series solid state
drives which, according to the company's press release, utilises a new
memory controller design as well as 'special mobile SDRAM' that serves
to increase drive read and write data transfer speeds by up to 40% and
60% respectively in comparison with 'regular' SSDs.

The new A-DATA SATAII SSD units, which come with 64MB of cache, will
become available in 32GB, 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB capacities and are
purported to boast sustained read speeds of 250MB/s and write speeds of
160MB/s thanks to the aforementioned 'special mobile SDRAM' which
'serves the function of cache buffer where frequently used data are
stored so that the system does not have to fetch data from the main
storage area each time it's called.'

There's no word concerning either pricing or availability at the time or
writing.
