Asus W90Vp-X1 Gaming Laptop Available in US Portable Gaming Powerhouse

If you're in the market for a high end gaming laptop, and even if you're
not, the Asus W90Vp-X1 is enough to conjure uncontrollable drooling
thanks to a spec sheet that will leave no one in any doubt as to the
serious clout the W90Vp-X1's packing which, as you'd expect, comes at
somewhat of a premium.

Based on and Intel X38 chipset paired with a 2.8GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
T9600 processor and sporting ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4870 X2 graphics
with 1GB of dedicated memory, the Asus W90Vp-X1, which runs Vista Home
Premium 64-bit (allowing for 6GB of DDR2 RAM), boasts an 18.4 display
offering 1920 x 1200 resolution as well as integrated Altec Lansing
5.1-channel Dolby Home Theater speaker system and 7200rpm 320GB HDD.
Additionally you can also factor in a DVD Super Multi optical drive,
Bluetooth V2.1+EDR, 10/100/1000Mbps LAN and 802.11 b/g/n wireless
connectivity (with a V.92 56K integrated modem bringing up the rear).

Further highlights include a 2MP built-in webcam and 8-in-1 card reader
and, in terms of I/O connectivity, the Asus W90Vp-X1 offers up 4x USB,
Fireware, VGA, eSATA and, of course HDMI.

Oh, and just in case this powerhouse of a laptop is a little too slow
for you (nothing's ever enough, is it?) how about a adding Turbo Gear
into the equation which will serve to overclock the CPU by a not
inconsiderable 25% just to add that extra punch when required.

The mightily impressive Asus W90Vp-X1 has just become available in the
US for just short of $2200.
