Casio Exilim EX-FS10 and EX-FC100 Cameras

Casio introduced two interesting point and shoot cameras at the just
concluded CES. Interesting because these light and compact cameras can
record video with a frame rate of at least 1000 fps, which is impressive
for light point and shoot cameras. Casio has paid heed to the market
requirement for a slim camera and the 9-megapixel EX-FC100 and EX-FS10
cameras are a result of their research and effort to shrink the hardware
and circuitry to fit in a slim body.

Although the FC100 and FS10 essentially have the same feature set; the
FC100 is the higher-end model and comes with a 5X zoom lens plus a
sensor-shift optical stabilizer. The FS10 is the sleeker model and and
comes with a 3X zoom and no stabilization. Features common to the two
models include 30fps burst shooting at 6 megapixels; Lag Correction, and
a user-determined prerecord interval. A slow motion preview lets you
pick the best frame to save. You can also record 720p movies on both
cameras.

The two cameras will be available from March onwards. The EX-FS10 will
cost $349.99 and come in blue, gray, red, and white colors. The EX-FC100
will cost $399.99 and be available in gray and white.
