Acer Ferrari 1200 With 12.1-inch LED Backlit Screen

Acer has launched the Ferrari 1200 ultraportable notebook which
apparently seeks to invoke in the user the class and mystique of the
Ferrari brand name. According to Acer, the Ferrari 1200 has an exterior
made from carbon fiber and it features a ventilation design inspired by
the exhausts of the F1 racing cars. Taking the Ferrari influence
further, the anodized-metal touchpad is inspired by the brak and
acceleration pedals of a Ferrari.

The notebook is an ideal multimedia companion with a slot-loaded DVD
SuperMulti optical drive and 2nd generation Dolby Home Theater. The
white LED backlit display ensures clear pictures.

Peripherals with the Ferrari 1200 include a Bluetooth wireless mouse
and optional Xpress VoIP phone. The Acer InviLink Wi-Fi Cerfitied
network connection ensures connectivity wherever there is an 802.11
based network.

The AMD Turion X2 Ultra dual-core mobile technology is at the heart of
the Acer Ferrari 1200. 4 GB of dual-channel DDR2 system memory ensures
that memory-intensive applications such as gaming and video editing do
not slow the machine down.

Prebundled software includes Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate, Windows
Vista Business or Windows Vista Home Premium and Acer Empowering
Technology; Acer Bio-Protection; Acer Crystal Eye; Acer GridVista; Acer
Launch Manager; and much more.
