The Zip Light Designed By Shannon South - Interesting Or Bizarre?

Hmmm 'That's what I have to say so far with regards to the new Zip
Light, mainly because I have a bad past with zips in general (and I have
the scar to prove it! Something About Mary - Eat your heart out!)

This so called Zip Light is said to take the monotony of switching
lights on and off using a switch, by letting you zip it on and off. This
interesting design by Shannon South makes lighting similar to handbag
use - where one would have to zip their bag open.

I'm not entirely sold on the idea 'yes, it's interesting and well,
different, but is it easy? I quite like having a switch here and there
without having to walk to my light continuosly to zip it on and off.
Then again, this would take the hassle out of wiring your house AND it
has a low energy fluorescent bulb which means you'll be saving on
electricity.

I guess what I'm saying is that I'm still undecided. Guess I'll have to
try one out to decide properly.
